In the presence of defects on pipes, the section affected by the leak is encapsulated with a containment box in two or more parts and sealed by injecting the sealing compound.
It is possible to intervene on straight manifolds, curves or TEE derivations of lines of any diameter.
The containment boxes are designed and manufactured from time to time based on the type of defect, the geometry of the section to be repaired, the characteristics of the fluid, the operating conditions and design of the line, the presence of external dimensions, etc.
The containment boxes can be divided into two groups: filled, for which the interspace delimited internally by the pipe and externally by the box itself is filled with sealing compound, and with channels, in which the seal is obtained by sealing grooves perimeter made on the contact faces of the box itself.
